The rise of the elite model - Cherif Douamba. From Law-Student to the High Fashion Catwalk.
Cherif Douamba is quite the renaissance man - he's a male model, photographer, creative director and even a philanthropist from the Ivory Coast. He's shot the covers of Hunger and Numéro Magazine and walks for Designer Houses like Balmain, Dior, Vivienne Westwood and many more . It all started for him when he was discovered on Instagram by a model scout, and he started modeling in 2019. He's always been interested in photography, and before he started modeling, he was studying law. His favorite scent is Black Opium by YSL and his favorite designer is Olivier Rousteing.
We love him already!

Cherif Douamba, a giant who makes the catwalk shake. Not with much fanfare , but with humility and determination. Probably an ambivert person who, on the one hand, performs his task with focus and bravura and, on the other hand, needs his time and space to recharge his social battery. After bathing, he dips himself in cocoa butter, his favorite food on the table, Skepta songs in the background, and admires his photographs taken during the day.
Yup! This is how we think he would spend his Sundays.
Do you aspire to a career as a model? Take Douamba's advice to heart :
“Don’t get distracted by the glitz & glamour in the industry. Remain humble but still don’t forget your boundaries.”
